The Heritage Museum of the Texas Hill Country | 2010 Calendar

February 18, 2010: Winter Texan Reception at Community Resource & Recreation Center, 125 Mabel Jones Dr. on South Access Road just below the dam off FM 306. Board Members will be manning our booth from 10am - 1pm.

February 25, 2010: Monthly Membership Meeting at 10 am at Tye Preston Library in Sattler unless alternate location announced. Featuring refreshments, show-and-tell artifacts and guest speaker TBA.

March 25, 2010: Annual Meeting of the Membership. Business meeting and brunch served. Guest Speaker TBA.

April 18, 2010: Dinosaur Day at the Heritage Museum Noon-5pm. Celebration and focus on our Cretaceous-Era dinosaur footprint trackway with guided tours and special Talks with Paleontologist Chip Davis from George Blasings’ Dinosaur World of San Antonio. Food and Fun for Kids of ALL ages!

April 22, 2010: Monthly MembershipMeeting. Guest Speaker TBA.

April 24, 2010: Earth Day Celebration at Landa Park in New Braunfels. A great educational and interactive day of wildlife seminars, conservation demos, and much more. Board members attend our display booth from 1-5pm.

May 27, 2010: Monthly membership Meeting. Guest speaker TBA.

June 24, 2010: Monthly Membership Meeting. Guest Speaker TBA.

July 22, 2010: Monthly Membership Meeting. Guest Speaker TBA.

August 26, 2010: Monthly Membership Meeting. Guest Speaker TBA.

September 23, 2010: Monthly Membership Meeting. Guest Speaker TBA

October 6, 2010: Our Annual Harvest Fest at 8pm in the GVTC Auditorium at 36101 FM 3159. Please note a break in tradition as we move to a New Night this year! This is our signature fundraising and fellowship event featuring a stew dinner, live entertainment, dessert and silent-auction, Raffle drawings and award winners.
